it took 45 mins from start to finish... I would just make the main template not so long so that when you fold it in half it was smaller...

I love this idea. If you did this with a class would YOU precut all the paper? Was it sticky plastic? Did you ahve a problem of it sticking when you put it into the sewing machine? I would like to try this with my students.Terisa
