Rough start but evening out

2am was the rough start to my Birthday... Danica was whimpering so I went to see what was up and she said she felt sick and she threw-up...and whimpered some more until 5ish.... so I logged in sick at 7am for the morning- Danica got to sleep in and was feeling fine so we both went back to school in the afternoon.... Bonnie( an fellow Ea at my school) and I went out for lunch and she had to mention it was my birthday... so we got a lava cake with raspberry and cream sauce drizzled everywhere... YUMMMMMM... School went great and I shared some puffed wheat cake with all my 7's class( dj and I made it when she got up) and they sang a lovely Happy Birthday to me!
So everything seems to be going good.... getting kids and Blake from school... slipped on the ice and skinned my knee...( but thats not the bad part) get home and the door inside the garage to the house is locked... well I do not have a key for that....kids ran around the house in the chance that one door may be unlocked... no such luck and Larry was not home he hold the extra keys to the house! so there I was Break and Entering my own house.... and let me tell you.... 5 mins folks!! it was just the knob that was locked... but still me having NO idea what I was doing with a flat screw driver and my hips and body lunging at the door.... goes to show how easy it is to get inside....and how important it is to lock the deadbolt---- or unimportant in my case!

as we all pile in and sit up to have a snack.... DING DONG....

but no one there... hmmm what is this ....
thanks friends! I love this kind of ding dong ditch! Oh my leg warmers.... now where are my roller skates I use to wear with them =) and a cute little cat clip that MEOWS... kids love it...

so the day is ending better... with supper out to follow....

I have photos of everything that happened could make a great page! along with trying to brush Keda's teeth! this little guy was given tooth paste ( poultry flavor I might add) and a tooth brush from the vet when he got fixed apparently he has a tarter problem!

Happy Birthday Kari - lets hope this evening is more fun than the start of the day. Maybe recieving tacky gifts is the undoing of the bad luck charm!
