With today being so nice... Danica and I headed to Montgomery to take in their garage sales... I have only heard the legend...It is indeed crazy beyond what I could even imagine! so much that we ended up only doing one main street and one little crescent! loads of baby/toddler toys-but we are way past that stage and with no little nephews or nieces... I was able to skip on past those ones! but we did find the kids most favorite game- pictonary! and for $2.00! and I eyed up this old typewriter and left it there the first time(thought that I would love it to be on display with my scrap booking stuff) and I promised myself if it was still there on our way back it was meant to be... and now I am the proud owner of a black well-worn typewriter! and $5 !
I confession is I do not like garage sales! my Mom loves them...maybe I was dragged to too many when I was younger!
the gardens got a haul over- 75% done....
and now I am making 4 dozen cupcakes for Danica's baton !!! figure we can decorate them tomorrow evening....
Dj is also having a sleep over here- so popcorn and movies and sleeping bags in the living room

I LOVE that typewriter! Maybe next year I'll just wander the yard sale instead of sitting out front of our house!
